Hurricane Rita
Hurricane Rita seems like it is going to be a bad storm. I am sure of one thing though.
It is not going to be a bad as the MSM is sensationalizing it to be. With that said,
Houston seems as though it is especially prepared, considering that this one is on
the heels of Hurricane Katrina.
The lovely and talented, my wife, has been glued to the TV expecting to hear even
more about the storm. I try to tell her that with the storm this far out, the National
Weather Service typically updates the track and the forecast every 6 to 8
hours. It is pointless to stay glued to the tube and expect to hear anything different
minute by minute. So I tried but she persists.
I check in with Drudge Report occasionally
to check the track and that is about it.
