Louisiana Dysfunctional
The first step in “Problem Solving and Decision Making” is to identify the problem or decision. With Former FEMA director Michael Brown saying “Louisiana was dysfunctional” today is a start.
Brown appeared before a special congressional panel set up by House Republican leaders to investigate the catastrophe.
“My biggest mistake was not recognizing by Saturday that Louisiana was dysfunctional,” two days before the storm hit, Brown said.
Louisiana has been dysfunctional for a long time and saying it is, is a good start. It is a great state with a tremendous history and wonderful friendly people. The problem
of course is that the politicians are corrupt and have been for well of 200 years.
All we can do is hope that this disaster will lead to true reform.
