Tom Delay Indicted
Tom Delay has been indicted for one count of criminal conspiracy. As a Republican I am hoping this is all because of a vengeful prosecutor. Now I certainly don’t think Tom Delay is without blame. He is a politician after all. He is a very effective politician and people have been after his hide for a long time. Criminal conspiracy is probably going to be something hard to prove and he will end up being cleared of all charges. But, as the saying goes, “where will he go to get his reputation back.
If he is truly guilty, let him hang. If not, then Travis County District Attorney Ronnie Earle should but taken to the wood shed. This is probably pure politics and nothing more, but that is just my opinion.
