Today me and the oldest son went to the Brickyard Bash at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway that the Boy Scouts were putting on.
We had a great time. He had too much of a good time with the Pine wood Derby. Big struggle getting him away from it to do other things. We also watched a rope tying demonstration. He participated in cooking his own apple turn over thing on a coal fired pit. He also had too much fun playing on the Hum vee provided by the US Army. We shot water bottle rockets and participated in a few other activities.
It was indeed a good time.
For anyone ever in the area, I highly recommend making a visit to The Brickyard, The Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
