The Cable Nets Do Saddam
When I went looking around the cable net’s web sites this fine evening, I noticed they all had their splash pages up with the news of Saddam’s deserving demise.
I decided to rank them according to which one gave the best send off to the bastard.
Coming in third, CNN actually seems to memorialize the former “Butcher of Baghdad” with this front page splash:
Well of course they had a good working relationship in the early days of the slaughtering.UPDATED: Michelle Malkin has more along the lines of CNN’s tribute ot Saddam.
MSNBC comes in second with something closer to what he was deserving:
FOX News makes my first place honors with something absolutely fitting of this horrible soul:
Notice the skull and bones in the background. That is what put it over the top for me.It is also funny that this is about the same order the cable nets are in the ratings. I wonder if that is a coincidence.
