Saw the movie yesterday. Thought it was "ok", but far from great. It felt like they tried to crap way too much into it. The pace was strange. A few priceless lines (as usual). Lots of laughs. But I was expecting more. Mind you, the audience seemed to enjoy it more than I did. The spider-pig scene was a riot.

Unforgivably, he movie failed to include the necessary "eeehxcellent", and BEEEHLCH. Though hounds were, indeed, released.
Though a lot of fun, the movie ultimately remained "free to wallow in its own crapulence."

I heard the Spider-Pig music on XM radio's movie soundrack channel. I agree, it would be worth sticking around through the credits for.

Dude, it's "The Simpsons," NOT "The Simpson's." Plural, not possessive.

Jeremy,

You are probably right. It was just after hearing him in character as Homer then to have Homer pretend to go and get Dan by the waiting car and have him come back. It was just probably the circumstances that made them sound so similar. Or maybe he just did not fully disengage the character.

Dan Castellaneta actually doesn't sound that much like Homer. He was one of the actors on the Tracey Ullman show (the balding one) which of course, spawned the Simpsons, if you want to see what he normally sounds like.

You have to see him. A one man show, doing Macbeth but doing it in Simpson's voices. He's brilliant.
