The Great Peasant Revolt of 2010

Friday, February 5th, 2010

This being a democracy, don’t the Democrats see that clinging to this agenda will march them over a cliff? Don’t they understand Massachusetts?

Well, they understand it through a prism of two cherished axioms: (1) The people are stupid, and (2) Republicans are bad. Result? The dim, led by the malicious, vote incorrectly.

Gallup: Majority of Dems View Socialism Positively

Friday, February 5th, 2010

This sounds about right. Socialists are the last to figure out that socialism is a dehumanizing and horrible form of government. They also cannot figure out how you eventually run out of other peoples money.

The Gallup Poll reports that a majority of Democrats, 53%, have a “positive” image of socialism, which includes independents who lean toward the blue party.

Beetles Vs. Home « Liveshots

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

Residents have been fighting for years for the right to put in reinforcing stones or other structures, but have been denied at every turn because of the beetles. Glenn Therres, a biologist with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (MDNR), says the agency will try to help homeowners – but not at the cost of the beetles.

Celebrities Who Make Kids Sick

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

So the Lancet, a British medical journal named after a really sharp object, retracted a horrible study attempting to link measle vaccines to autism.

Now this would really be great news, if the study had not come out, oh, 12 years ago. It’s really scary that it took a medical journal over a decade to admit what nearly everyone else with a working brain knew: the study had more gaping holes in it than Tom Sizemore’s septum.

But sadly, although the study author has also been discredited for this harmful crud, it doesn’t matter. People who believe in junk science will continue to believe in junk science, because their egos won’t allow any other option. And so they will continue preaching to parents a dangerous and false belief that ends up killing kids.

Ohio - Kucinich - Cheney

Tuesday, November 6th, 2007

I am starting to wonder what the Ohio folks are getting for sending Dennis Kucinich to Washington. From what I can tell at this point, he will be remembered as the one who kept trying to impeach Vice President Cheney and failing miserably.

If they sent him there to be one of the least effective members of the House, then they are getting what they voted for.

UPDATE: Rush Limbaugh Phony Soldiers

Saturday, September 29th, 2007

I’ve got nothing. Much like the Left has in this story.

The loons on the left are trying to make as big a deal out of this as possible, but it just ain’t happening. They even got a crackpot member of congress to introduce a resolution to condemn Rush.

Most of what is going on with this story is the left running around trying to making something out of nothing. So far the major players in the media, I beleive are seeing this for what it is. A big fat NON-STORY.

The Left is currently suffering from Echo Chamber Syndrome.

Kevin Spacey Sidles Up With Chavez

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

Maybe he is looking for a new home in a socialist paradise or looking for a few million to do a film like Danny Glover received, I don’t know. What I do know, is that he is certainly not helping the oppressed people of Venezuela by giving credence to the dictator for life.

Actor Kevin Spacey meets with Chavez

Venezuela - Actor Kevin Spacey met privately Monday with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, one of Washington’s most outspoken critics in Latin America.

Neither Spacey — who has won Academy Awards for roles in “The Usual Suspects” and “American Beauty” — nor Chavez spoke to the press after the nearly three-hour encounter in the presidential palace in Caracas. They shook hands warmly on the red carpet as Spacey left after a dinner with Chavez.

Hours earlier, the actor visited a $13 million film studio founded last year by the government to support Venezuelan filmmaking. Details were not released about the rest of Spacey’s itinerary.

Star Simpson: Star Idiot

Friday, September 21st, 2007

Star Simpson thought it would be a good idea to strap a fake bomb to her chest and walk into Logan Airport.

Student Charged With Wearing Fake Bomb At Logan

Troopers arrested an MIT student at gunpoint Friday after she walked into Logan International Airport wearing a computer circuit board and wiring on her sweatshirt. Authorities call it a fake bomb; she called it art.

Star Simpson, 19, of Lahaina, Hawaii, had a white computer circuit board and wiring over a black hooded sweat shirt she was wearing, said State Police Maj. Scott Pare, the commanding officer at the airport.

“She said that it was a piece of art and she wanted to stand out on career day,” Pare said at a news conference. “She claims that it was just art, and that she was proud of the art and she wanted to display it.”

She can claim whatever she likes, it does not change the fact that she will forever be known as an idiot. Enjoy!

MoveOn - Hillary - Rudy

Friday, September 14th, 2007

Rudy had a great response to MoveOn.org ”hit ad” today in the form of a political add that was just great. It made me feel a lot better about this whole disgusting mess.

h/t: The Corner

Red State had a great response as well. What If MoveOn.org Existed 65 Years Ago?

Fred Thompson had a great response as well. On the Road - Fred in Florida on MoveOn.org’s Attack on General Petraeus

With all of this piling on, maybe this is the “Jump the Shark” moment that will finally bring an end to all of this extreme and unnecessary political B.S. by these extreme left wing moonbats.

Dennis Kucinich is an Idiot

Tuesday, September 11th, 2007

Rep. Dennis Kucinich Stands Alone Opposed to Sept. 11 Commemoration Resolution

Rep. Dennis Kucinich, Democratic presidential candidate and no stranger to contrarian views, was the sole congressman Tuesday to vote against the House’s Sept. 11 commemoration resolution.

Tuesday’s nonbinding resolution was a relatively short document. It had 12 “whereas” clauses — stating things like what happened the day of the terrorist attacks, who was affected and how terrorists have been targeted since then — and six resolution paragraphs establishing Sept. 11 as a day of remembrance, extending sympathies to families of victims who died and honoring those who have fought in Afghanistan and Iraq.

“It is important that Congress wake up to the truth and exercise its obligation under the Constitution to save our nation from being destroyed from the lies that took us into Iraq, the lies that keep us there, the lies that are being used to set the stage for war against Iran and the lies that have undermined our basic civil liberties here at home,” Kucinich said in a statement.

Well, he is the representative of the people in the 10 Congressional District of Ohio (Cleveland). I guess it says as much about them as it does him. They must be happy with the retched socialist democrat. They keep sending him back.

Keith Olbermann - You’re An Idiot

Monday, September 10th, 2007

If anyone was actually watching this nut bag, he might could be considered dangerous. In any case he is just a big headed, sick, twisted, idiotic, freak.

Olbermann: Fox News Is More Dangerous Than AQ, Klan

Go to Hell Keith, Go to Hell…

democrats - liberals - traitors

Monday, September 10th, 2007

I was listening to Dennis Miller on the drive home today as I usually do. He was having a discussion about all the crap coming out of democrats mouths today about General Petraeus being a liar. MoveOn.org putting that whole Betray Us ad in the New York Times. democrats calling what Petraeus would be presenting would be filled with lies and that it was written by the Bush Administration. These people are just creeps. Sick, twisted, lose at any cost, to hell with America, Syrian Dictator worshiping, sick twisted freaks.

The thing that I got of the whole conversation was when Miller was talking about how the liberals did a preemptive strike on questioning their patriotism before they started dumping on the greatest nation in the world. How they were setting it all up, so that when they starting speaking traitorous talk we, the media and anyone else would not be able to question their patriotism. How he was feeling uneasy about calling them traitors but with all of this dumping on a 4 Star General before he even had a chance to speak and with the stupid add by MoveOn .org, he was becoming less uneasy about calling them what they are. TRAITORS!

Well I am question their patriotism. I am calling them traitors to the greatest nation in the world and they can all burn with Saddam, Osama and all of the terrorists bastards In Hell. I am sick and tired of these bastards talking all this sh!t and not being questioned or called out for it.

So go to hell you bastards! YOU ARE TRAITORS!

Dennis The Mennis

Thursday, September 6th, 2007

Dennis Kucinich has always been a little weird and I have tried to always give him the benefit of the doubt. But, that has all come to an end with his latest lunacy on a trip to visit the dictator of Syria.

US Democratic hopeful Kucinich meets Assad, blasts Bush

US Democratic presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich, on a Mideast visit that included a stop in Syria, said the country lambasted by the Bush administration deserves credit for taking in more than a million Iraqi refugees.

Kucinich, a strong anti-war opponent who trails far in the US presidential polls, also said he won’t visit Iraq on his trip to the region because he considers the US military deployment there illegal.

“I feel the United States is engaging in an illegal occupation … I don’t want to bless that occupation with my presence,” he said in an interview in Lebanon, after visiting Syria. “I will not do it.”

Kucinich, who accused the Bush administration of policies that have destabilized the Mideast, met with Syrian President Bashar Assad during his visit to Damascus. He said Assad was receptive to his ideas of “strength through peace.”

Yet another democrat bashing the United States on foreign soil in a time of war. My blood boils.

democrats Protest Fight for Victory Tour

Saturday, September 1st, 2007

democrats are actually going to counter rally Move America Forward’s rally in Carson City on Monday. They are actually going to protest a group that is standing up to support victory in Iraq and the war on terror.

Do the democrats not see what fools they have become? I guess they will be the last to know.

From the democrats website: Nevada Dem Veterans & Military Families Counter-Rally! (Rally)

ALERT! OUT-OF-STATE, PRO-WAR GROUP COMING TO CARSON CITY!

Move America Forward*, a pro-war, California-based Republican front group, opposes a change of course in Iraq and has organized to push back on Americans’ resolve to end the war.

The group will rally outside of Sen. Reid’s office on Sept. 3. They do not want Sen. Reid to lead the fight in Congress to bring a responsible end to the war.

Let’s organize more people than they do to tell this out-of-state group that Nevadans support a change of course in Iraq:

Support Our Troops – Change the Course

Only in America and only in the democrat party.

John Edwards Throwing Stones

Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

The hypocrisy that flows from the mouth of John Edwards is hard to believe. This is one of those times that it is especially difficult. Seems he was telling a group of union workers the other day that the rest of us should give up our SUVs.

Edwards: Americans should sacrifice their SUVs

Maybe Edwards should give up some of his 28,000 square foot mansion and sports barn so that a dozen or so poor, destitute, homeless, illegal aliens, can have a place to stay.

Just take a look at this energy consuming behemoth of a house this bastard just moved into.

For all of the crap that flows from this hypocrites mouth about helping the poor,  it seems that all he ever wants do is force other people to give their fortune to make it happen.

I say, Hey John Edwards, you go first. You give up your SUVs. Let some homeless people stay with you in your big house, you have more than enough room. How about you serve them a nice meal at your table.

Americans do more and give more than any other country in the world and we should. We are truly fortunate. But enough is enough!

Stop taking our money by the force of law and let us decide what to do with our money, for our people, in our community.

Like I said, you first.

Sean Penn Should Be Proud

Thursday, August 16th, 2007

With all of Sean Penns Loving and Hugging of the soon to be “dictator for life”, Hugo Chavez, he should really be proud that his friend may soon be given the right to reign hell over the people of Venezuela until his death.

Maybe Sean could get his friend to appoint him Vice President/Dictator so he can join in on the fun.

From Fox News: Venezuela’s Chavez Seeking to Change Constitution to Allow Perpetual Re-Election

President Hugo Chavez was presenting his blueprint Wednesday for sweeping constitutional changes expected to allow him to be re-elected indefinitely.

Chavez, who is seeking to transform Venezuelan society along socialist lines, announced late Tuesday that he would unveil his project before crowds of supporters at the National Assembly. He predicted it would bring renewed political upheaval to Venezuela.

Chavez’s political allies firmly control the National Assembly, which is expected to approve the plan within several months. It then would have to be approved by citizens in a national referendum.

Oh, and Danny Glover could also expect to have the cash continue to flow for future film projects.

Birds of a Feather and all that.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s Presidential Vote Up for Grabs

Matt Damon Believes Hollywood’s Getting Better And Smarter

Even though I freely admit I am a big Matt Damon fan, it was what George Clooney had to say that provides context to this post.

In the upcoming U.S. presidential elections, Damon is supporting the Democrat contender Barack Obama. “[George] Clooney called him and said, ‘Senator, I’d like to support you in any way I can, including staying home - because you never know how the Right in our country is going to characterize or characterize [one's] participation.”‘

I don’t care! With the exception of this post to say, I don’t care.

Captain Ed Finds Racism on the Left

Thursday, August 9th, 2007

Captain Ed does a great job in exposing the left for yet another facet of what they try and hide from the electorate. In the Internet age the loons on the left still have not figured out, you can’t hide so easy when you ride the ether of the information highway on an IP address. In this guys case it was just because he was a damn idiot, that he got caught so easily.

Progressives For Racist Smears? (Update: Progressive Wises Up A Little Late)

It doesn’t take long for provocateurs to crawl out of the woodwork to attack candidates, especially in stealth attacks. With Fred Thompson, they’ve apparently started before he officially enters the race — and in one case, race is the operative word. Apparently hoping to confuse web surfers looking for Fred’s website at www.imwithfred.com, a new site has appeared at www.imwithfred2008.com — only this site welcomes people to the Ku Klux Klan, “Bringing a Message of Hope and Deliverance to White Christian America!” It includes links to a variety of disgusting racist sites.

I don’t even think the Captain broke a sweat to track him down.

Socialized Medicine IS NOT FREE

Wednesday, August 1st, 2007

Referring to this particular graph in this ABC News Article, I just about lost it.

O, Canada! More Americans Heading North

Kertes, who moved with his partner, is happy in his new home. “Canada is a really nice country. My mother is thinking about it. My stepfather has diabetes and has health issues. So, he’d be taken care of for free if he moved up here.”

So I thought to myself, it might be a good thing this idiot is leaving and going to Canada. It will be one less idiot to have to deal with in the growing debate on socialized medicine.

Socialized Medicine IN NOT FREE. It is paid for by hard working people who involuntarily give up a vast amount of their wages to make it possible.

If World Peace is not possible, could at least an understanding that individuals can better determine how best to disperse the fruits of there labor, better than government.

In any case, I applaud those choosing to leave America for Canada and elsewhere. Not only does it make room for 10 times the ones coming as leaving. We are probably better off without them.

Good Riddance!

Fred Thompson Meet Richard Cohen

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

Richard Cohen is at it again. Writing about issues he would be best leaving alone. But I guess that is what makes him so special and so funny to read. I often think he is a closet republican working the inside to expose the lunacy of the left.

In his latest article he takes on Fred Thompson and his support of the Second Amendment. Yes that amendment. The one the Left often forgets exists.

Thompson on Horseback

First Richard takes issue with Fred Thompson on the Virginia Tech Shootings:

This is how Thompson articulated his anti-gun-control position recently on National Review Online. According to Thompson, the horrible massacre at Virginia Tech ( 32 dead) proved not that the shooter should have been in some sort of tightly controlled mental-health program or that it was too easy in Virginia for a nut to buy semiautomatic weapons, but — incredibly enough — that there were too few guns on campus. If the university did not prohibit guns, students would have been able “to protect themselves” — presumably by reaching into their backpacks and gunning down the shooter.

Then explains why he has a gun himself:

Mind you, while I subscribe to the Marshal Dillon Rule, I am on record as being sympathetic to those who like to keep a gun in the house. This is because I was burglarized one very dark night by a klutz of a thief who burst though my back door and ran around the first floor making so much noise that I was certain he was coming for me. (This was before the deranged had recourse to e-mail.) I very much wanted a gun — not to whack the intruder but merely to protect my life.

So he can appreciate himself having a gun for self protection, but is confused as to why Fred Thompson would advocate students enjoying that same self protection.

That’s Richard Cohen for you. Making the case for the Second Amendment while arguing against. That can only be done from the Leftist perspective.

The Lefts Wish for John Roberts

Monday, July 30th, 2007

Today came the news of Chief Justice John Roberts slip, fall and ride to the hospital.

Chief Justice Roberts Suffers Seizure

Chief Justice John Roberts suffered a seizure at his summer home in Maine on Monday, causing a fall that resulted in minor scrapes, Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said.

He will remain in a hospital in Maine overnight.

“It’s my understanding he’s fully recovered, said Christopher Burke, a spokesman for Penobscot Bay Medical Center, where Roberts was taken.

I wish him well in his recovery.

Some on the left wish him otherwise.

Live Earth: for Donuts

Saturday, July 7th, 2007

That is the first thing that came to mind when I tuned in to Bravo. Donuts!

Yes it is true, there is nothing that these magical sugary concoctions can’t do.

To include making Algore look 30 years younger. Can you believe that this is the photo that these losers are using on the Live Earf site.

It is tragic to see Algore and all of his looney friends depreciate in value right before our very eyes.

Jimmy Carter Should Not Throw Stones

Monday, May 21st, 2007

Seems that Jimmy “The Rabbit” Carter has managed to run off at the mouth again.

Jimmy Carter Backtracks
on Calling Bush Administration Worst in U.S. History

CRAWFORD, Texas —  Former President Jimmy Carter backed off Monday from harshly
critical comments he made of President Bush over the weekend after the White House
offered a biting rebuke to the former president by calling him “increasingly irrelevant.”

“My remarks were maybe careless or misinterpreted but I wasn’t comparing the overall
administration and certainly not talking about anyone personally,” Carter said in
an interview Monday when asked to explain.

The comments “were interpreted as comparing this whole administration to all other
administrations when what I was actually doing was responding to a question about
foreign policy between [President Richard] Nixon and this administration, and I think
that this administration’s foreign policy compared to Nixon’s was much worse. …
I wasn’t comparing this administration with other administrations throughout history
but just with President Nixon’s,” he told NBC’s “The Today Show.”

Jimmy Carter has nothing to fear, his lock on being the worst of the last 10 U.S.
Presidents is secure.

The guys at Cox & Forkum picture Jimmy perfectly.

H.R. 808: Department of Peace and Nonviolence Act

Saturday, April 14th, 2007

Those wacky democrats are up to it again. They are trying to establish what they refer to as “H.R. 808: Department of Peace and Nonviolence Act”. These guys are soooooo lame. If they knew anything in the first place they would already realize this department already exists. It is called The Department of Defense. That’s right, the DoD. It’s main responsibility is to keep the peace. If at anytime their is not peace, it will be ordered by the President of the United States/Commander in Chief to go forth and break things to include the will of the enemy, until that peace is restored.

Please refer to TigerHawk for more on this.

When a bias WaPo reporter really speaks his mind

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

THE PERIL OF A NEWSPAPER BLOG “…is that a reporter might say what he actually thinks before an editor catches up with him and makes him stop.”

William M. Arkin telling us what he and most of the MSM really feel.

Still they say “what bias”.

Kerry Shows Off His True Colors In Davos

Saturday, January 27th, 2007

The following puts on display why John F’ing Kerry makes a horrible senator and would
have made an even worse president. Thank God for small miracles that he was never
elected.

From the Captain’s Quarters: Kerry Slams US In Davos Summit

“There’s something about the Davos economic summit that drives American leftists
to slam their own country while abroad. Two years ago, Eason Jordan lost his job at
CNN over his accusations in Davos that the US military had a policy of assassinating
journalists in war zones. Today, John Kerry used the forum to scold the Bush administration
for its foreign policy while specifying two issues that predate it:”

Hot Air has Video of this despicable display of an American Traitor trying to out do Jimmy Carter.

One Less Place to look for Discount Mattresses

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

Well considering that I am planning on replacing my mattress this year, it is getting
rather old, I have found one place to scratch off the list of places to look.

From Fox News: Web Site
Kicks Sand in Faces of GIs in Iraq Asking for Mats to Ease Hardship of Sleeping on
Ground

“We do not ship to APO addresses, and even if we did, we would NEVER ship to Iraq.
If you were sensible, you and your troops would pull out of Iraq.

Bargain Suppliers
Discount-Mats.com”

Khetani on Monday told FOX News that the person responsible for the email reply
had been fired. The Web site, meanwhile, has been temporarily taken down.”

1-800-Mattress and Sams Club, it looks as though it is between the two of you.

If Only The democrats had a Soul

Wednesday, January 10th, 2007

…maybe then they could understand why it is with the utmost importance that we see
this thing through in Iraq. Instead they choose to play politics with the troops and
the citizens of Iraq.

One day real soon this is all going to be over with and the President will finally
get the credit he deserves. The main reason that so many people of America are down
on this thing is because the MSM and the democrats are doing all they can, to distort
anything and everything they can. But, the truth will eventually come about and of
course the democrats will be labeled as they truly should be, liberal cowards.

That’s about all I have to say about this at this time.

Peace Freaks Turn on democrats

Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007

I still hope that one day the world will realize that the real people that make peace
happen are the ones with the big guns and not the ones with crappy slogans.

From Fox News: Sheehan,
Iraq War Protesters Break Up House Democrats’ Press Conference

“Chanting “de-escalate, investigate, troops home now,” the protesters disrupted
a briefing aimed at outlining priority goals when Democrats take over the House and
Senate on Thursday.”

…and so the worm turns. Good luck with all that democrats. You deserve each other.

Human Rights Watch Proves Their Worthlessness

Saturday, December 30th, 2006

From their website comes this on the report of Saddam’s death:

“Human Rights Watch has for more than 15 years documented the human rights crimes committed by Hussein’s former government, and has campaigned to bring the perpetrators to justice. These crimes include the killing of more than 100,000 Iraqi Kurds in Northern Iraq as part of the 1998 Anfal campaign.
“Saddam Hussein was responsible for massive human rights violations, but that can’t justify giving him the death penalty, which is a cruel and inhuman punishment,” said Richard Dicker, director of Human Rights Watch’s International Justice Program.”

It is probably me, but I just don’t get it.
