Well today was the closing of the auction of the Harry Reid Smear Letter. The winning bid was $2,100,100 and Rush Limbaugh match for over $4.2 million for The Marine Corps and Law Enforcement Foundation. That is unbelievable!
What is even more unbelievable is that the scum politician Harry Reid tried to nudge his way in to get some credit for it all.
How dare you even come close to even giving the democrats credit for the Harry Reid Smear Letter that Rush Limbaugh turned into Gold for the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation. Not only did you give then full credit you did not even mention the fact Rush matched the contribution making a total contribution of 4.2 million dollars.
Rush is going to have your ASS come Monday.

Un-freaking believable: Rush Limbaugh’s Smear Letter is currently at $851,000.
You know you are the Sh!t when everything you touch turns to gold. Or as they have put it over at The Radio Equalizer, While Rush’s remarkably successful auction effort surely has provided an example of turning lemons into lemonade.
Harry Reid and the democrats are idiots. When they decided to try and go after Rush Limbaugh on phony trumped up accusations about “Phony Soldiers”, they went and barked up the wrong damn tree.
Dumb-Ass Harry went and wrote a letter to Rush’s Boss and Rush’s Boss essentially responded with we ain’t doing jack to Rush and you can just go to hell. Well, he didn’t say anything really close to that but that is the way I interpreted it in any case.
Well Rush has now turn the whole thing around on the donkey and has placed the original letter along with a very nice brief case and a few other things, up for bid on EBay.
When I first looked at this Friday the bid was for $ 100.00. It now at this moment, $35,000. This is just flat out amazing. I don’t think any of those bone headed democrats will step up to Rush’s challenge of matching the donation to The Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation
democrats have in common the problem 40 battered women have in common, they just don’t know when to shut up.
It seems that the Fairness Doctrine was and could be again, everything Rush Limbaugh has been saying about for sometime now.
Compared to the history of why it was implemented (to make it too costly for radio stations to allow right wing hosts to continue attacks against the democrats) those are the exact same reasons the democrats are trying to reimpose it again. To silence to right wings most effective method of communicating the other side of the story that the mainstream media will not tell you.
When you bring a knife to a gun fight, don’t expect to win. When you try to take out the King of Talk Radio, the truth best be on your side.
If the basis of your argument is a lie, it matters not how right you think you are, you are still wrong.

Congressional Democrats are trying to divert attention from insulting our military leader in Iraq and pandering to the loony left by attacking Rush Limbaugh. He is one of the strongest supporters of our troops, yet Democrats claim he is not being strong enough. I wonder who General Petraeus and his troops think is most supportive?

I’ve got nothing. Much like the Left has in this story.
The loons on the left are trying to make as big a deal out of this as possible, but it just ain’t happening. They even got a crackpot member of congress to introduce a resolution to condemn Rush.
Most of what is going on with this story is the left running around trying to making something out of nothing. So far the major players in the media, I beleive are seeing this for what it is. A big fat NON-STORY.

The kooks on the left tried making something out of nothing. They tried doing it with Rush Limbaugh and of course failed. They tried taking out of context, comments from Rush about the story of a Phony Soldier and make a scandal out of it.

Channel Climate Expert Calls for Decertifying Global Warming Skeptics
The Weather Channel’s most prominent climatologist is advocating that broadcast
meteorologists be stripped of their scientific certification if they express skepticism
about predictions of manmade catastrophic global warming. This latest call to silence
skeptics follows a year (2006) in which skeptics were compared to “Holocaust Deniers”
and Nuremberg-style war crimes trials were advocated by several climate alarmists.The Weather Channel’s (TWC) Heidi Cullen, who hosts the weekly global warming
program “The Climate Code,” is advocating that the American Meteorological Society
(AMS) revoke their “Seal of Approval” for any television weatherman who expresses
skepticism that human activity is creating a climate catastrophe.
In recent comments from Rush Limbaugh, what he has said really is starting to make
a lot of sense. I could not find the exact quote but it went something like this;
To the left, they are normal. That is why they don’t consider themselves liberals
because, what they are, what they believe in, is the norm. If anything
or anyone diverges from what they consider to be normal is immediately discredited
and deserves to be silenced.
This is very much related to the recently revived debate over the “Fairness Doctrine/Hush Rush Bill” that that little man Dennis Kucinich is bringing up. The Captains Quarters has a great post on it that is well worth reading.
Rush Limbaugh said it today on his show and it went something like this: The American People get what they want when they make voices heard.
What will be the interesting part of all of this will be, what American Company will want to deal with all of the baggage that is apart of dealing with these ports. Unions, bureaucratic red tape, government oversight and all the other trouble that goes with managing these damn things. I have not heard of any American companies that actually do this sort of work and there is probably a very good reason for it.
The decisions that were made by our elected leaders from all indications were made with misreporting, misinformation, disinformation, intolerance, racism, bigotry and flat out ignorance on a lot of peoples part.
The question now is, will the American people want the result of what they demanded?
