Hey, thanks for commenting. All of the things you mention though are good things. Lobbyist are a good thing, sure some are bad but they should be dealt with individually. Don't throw out the baby you know.

As far as his second trophy wife, whats wrong with that. We should all be so lucky to have a beautiful and intelligent wife. His ex-wife from what I have read, speaks highly of him still.

Hey, everyone should have a good defense. Scooter deserved one to.

I like Fred and I am pulling for him to win.

Ha ha, Fred's one of those bad "L" word people. Oh, no not a liberal but a lobbist. He lobbied for pro-choice. What's that say about his consistancy and 'beltway outsider' stance?
He's for strong family values; He and his trophy second wife.
He's against coruption but he raised funds to pay "Scooter" Libby's legal fees and fines after he was pardoned. That's not fair play. That's good ole boy politics.
Get dupped by his folksy, old school, no nonsense persona if you like but take it from a fellow Tenneesseean Fred isn't what he wants you to think he is.

Well we did not make it there until after 11 a.m. but I don't think they would have flown over before the majority of the crowd got there.

It would have been nice to see them though. I would have loved to have seen all 3 of them.

Thanks for stopping by.

Rob,

It will be with two less votes. If I had the time and resources I would certainly, actively campaign against him the next time he's up.

So NOW what does Indiana's "esteemed" Senator Lugar have to say? I wrote him and said that the next time he is re-elected, it'll be by one vote less. That's like a mosquito biting an elephant, but as a mosquito, that's all the bite I have.

I had the same reaction about Pence and Carson. Carson represents my district, too. She's a deadbeat absentee landlord but she will always be re-elected by the useful idiots in my district.

Saw the movie yesterday. Thought it was "ok", but far from great. It felt like they tried to crap way too much into it. The pace was strange. A few priceless lines (as usual). Lots of laughs. But I was expecting more. Mind you, the audience seemed to enjoy it more than I did. The spider-pig scene was a riot.

Unforgivably, he movie failed to include the necessary "eeehxcellent", and BEEEHLCH. Though hounds were, indeed, released.
Though a lot of fun, the movie ultimately remained "free to wallow in its own crapulence."

I heard the Spider-Pig music on XM radio's movie soundrack channel. I agree, it would be worth sticking around through the credits for.

Jeremy,

You are probably right. It was just after hearing him in character as Homer then to have Homer pretend to go and get Dan by the waiting car and have him come back. It was just probably the circumstances that made them sound so similar. Or maybe he just did not fully disengage the character.
