Lisa Marie McDonald, Chicago, Ill

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

I went to City College in Ft. Lauderdale with Lisa. She was about the only persons name I could remember.

I took a shot in the dark and looked her up on Facebook December 1st. Found someone who I thought looked like her and sent a message. She replied asking for more clues and I replied. Soon there after she friend-ed me and it was done.

After some emails back and forth catching up I settled in, happy with connecting with a long lost colleague.

Then came along December 2nd. I thought I would make a comment on her wall, but for some reason she was not to be found. I checked and I was a friend short and sure enough she was gone.

To verify this, I sent her this message:

Dude, did you kick me out of your club?

Was it because you found out that I am a right-wing nut job?

I am not really though, I am just a limited government conservative that believes in people helping people and not government helping people.

If so, I am sad to lose the connection, but it is what it is.

She soon after replied with this message:

I’m sorry, but some of the anti-Muslim comments on your page really offended me. Also the fact that you call the president “dear leader’, but refuse to actually listen to him speak. He’s not my favorite person right now, but I listen to his speeches, just like I listened to every single one of Bush’s. I’m afraid that I just can’t tolerate people that don’t pay attention and form their opinions based on their own inner beliefs rather than fact.

Your right wing beliefs I’m cool with, but your celebration of judgement and bias without due diligence I am not.

Before I could offer a rebuttal, she had completely cut off any ability I had to reply. For if she had not been so quick to judgement and bias without due diligence, she could have realized that I am on the internet just about every waking hour, reading my political blogs, news sites and listening to streaming audio of talk show through out the day. Some might call it an obsession.

So I thought I would offer my rebuttal here and reply as I would have if she had not cut me off.

Here goes;

I’m sorry, but some of the anti-Muslim comments on your page really offended me.

- These comments are not mine but of commenter’s on my page. I don’t agree with them but I am not about to censor the speech of someone else. Those are their beliefs and not necessarily mine.

Also the fact that you call the president “dear leader’, but refuse to actually listen to him speak. He’s not my favorite person right now, but I listen to his speeches, just like I listened to every single one of Bush’s.

- I do refer to him as ‘dear leader’ for obvious reasons, but I do listen and read all of what he has to say. I just choose not to do it during my prime time TV time.

I’m afraid that I just can’t tolerate people that don’t pay attention and form their opinions based on their own inner beliefs rather than fact.

- If only she had been a little more tolerant and was not so quick to judge based on her own inner beliefs rather than fact, we could have remained friends.

It is what it is though.

Maybe one day if she every reads this, we can reconnect and try again to be friends who don’t necessarily agree.

If I only allowed friends on Facebook that agreed with me, needless to say it would be me and a couple of other folks.

I like people that don’t agree with me. It makes for some stimulating conversations.

Janeane Garofalo is a Racist

Sunday, October 4th, 2009

…as are most true liberals, as has been my experience.

Don’t take my word for it, but from some one who can actually write a coherent thought.

UPDATE: I have an additional thought. What if Janeane, is really not a racist? What if she is using projection, casting aspersions on a group that for a practical purposes is not racist, to draw attention to a group that is clearly racist and has been, even while saying it is not?

What if Janeane is offering up herself as a mater to bring light to this horrible affliction that is Hollywood?

Janeane, if you are reading this, drop me a line and let me know. The email address is my first name, this ‘@’ symbol and my domain name.

I’m a Right wing Extremist

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009

Who would of thunk it. Just because I beleive in the 10th Amendment (that’s a part of the Constitution ya know), enforcing the border and a few other conservative ideas, the Obama Department of Homeland Security thinks I’m a right-wing extremist.

Hillary Clinton Lies

Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

You should not be surprised. Not only is she a liberal, she is a  politician, and a Clinton.

Both synonymous with the word Lie.

Barack Obama is a LIBERAL

Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

He is a liberal. He can deny it all he want but a liberal he will be. He can call himself “Mash Potato’s & Gravy”, but he is still a liberal.

Just because liberal has been successfully denigrated justifiably so, if you are a liberal be proud of it or don’t be one.

Idiots Attack Army Recruiting

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

Wisconsin Army Recruiting Center Vandalized

Vandals scrawled an anti-war message on a Milwaukee Army Recruiting Station Wednesday, the day marking five years since the Iraq war began, WTMJ radio reported.

This is the work of cowards. Communists sympathizers.  Actually these bastards probably give communists a bad name, if that is even possible.

Sometimes we tolerate idiots way too much. I think this is one of those times.

Liberals should not be trusted

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

…because they do stupid things like this.

An exercise in discrimination at Harvard

Six times a week, Harvard kicks all the guys out of the Quadrangle Recreational Athletic Center at the request of the Harvard Islamic Society. This is to accommodate those female Muslim students whose faith won’t let them work out in front of men.

When I asked Harvard spokesman Bob Mitchell about this new Sharia-friendly policy, he denied that they were banning anyone. “No, no,” he told me, “we’re permitting women to work out in an environment that accommodates their religion.”

The author goes on in the article to layout that this is the same Havard that does this:

This is, after all, the same college that sued to keep military recruiters off campus over the issue of gay rights.

Perhaps someone in the bin Talal Islamic Studies Program could let Harvard know what the sheik’s pals in Saudi Arabia actually do to gay people. It’s worse than just banning them from the weight room.

Liberals you would think would be embarrassed by such hypocrisies. But no, they consider it being a good progressive and how dare we question their mighty than thou intentions.

Don’t trust liberals further than you can throw a flaming one of them.

Indiana Thought/Hate Crimes Bill

Monday, February 18th, 2008

Well I for one am thankful that this awful bit of legislation is going to be kept from passing. For me, Hates Crimes are bogus and amount up to nothing more that thought crimes and that gives me the creeps, As in Tom Cruise Minority Report creepy. Also it is just another part of the liberal agenda that should never see the light of day.

Hate crimes bill appears dead this session

A bill that would create a hate crimes law in Indiana would die in the House before a key deadline this week, its author said, and he did not expect it to be revived this session.

Porter said Indiana was one of only five states without hate crimes laws, and if one were to pass, it would show that Indiana “is a place to live and work for everybody.”

I am OK with Indiana being one of only five states not to have fallen for this crock of bad legislation.

I am not sure where this Porter lives in Indiana, but from here in Indianapolis, it seems to be very accommodating to all that dwell within. Even if you are an idiot that happens to be a liberal.

Harry Reid: Losing His Mind

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

Not content with being a big loser as a leader in the Senate. He now is trying to bring the entire country down with him.

ED MORRISSEY: “Harry Reid doesn’t know when to give up, or more precisely, when to give up on giving up.”

Well I for one will not surrender to Harry Reid’s loser mentality. Let’s get a rope.

Glenn Reynolds seems to think: He has not yet begun to surrender!

I think he’s right.

Don Surber Reminds Us

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

He reminds us of what democrats have said and probably what they wish the could take back. Well maybe some of them at least. Maybe.

I only hope history reminds everyone of the sorry state the democrats put themselves. Voting and saying at every turn anything and everything against the country, the military and its sitting President. For this I hope they pay.

‘The surge has not worked and will not work.’

John Edwards - Silly Nanny

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

I think John Edwards just split his pants to the point that they cannot be repaired.

He is proposing in a new commercial that if Congress does not pass Universal Health Care he will take it away from Congress out of spite. The problem is, he can’t do that.

What an idiot!

He is the extreme of the democrats and fortunately for us all, has not a chance in Hell of ever being president.

Anti-War Films Bomb

Sunday, November 11th, 2007

As film makers try to portray the Iraq War in the way they see it. America as the bad guys and the enemy we face as the good guys. These films will continue to fail. Probably the only place these films will do well is with our enemy or in countries who are hostile with our success.

Plenty of great heroic stories have come out of this conflict. Unfortunately these heroic stories do no fit these film makers misguided agendas. Every was in history has had ugly moments, just as every family has skeletons. Only the sick and twisted would prefer to dwell on the ugly parts as opposed to put it behind them and accentuate the positive.

Of course it will only take one good movie to portray a heroic story, of which there are many, and then greedy Hollywood will be all over it to cash in on it. The one true moral Hollywood has, is whatever makes them the most little green rectangles.
