He died today.
Walter Cronkite, the premier TV anchorman of the U.S. networks’ golden age who reported a tumultuous time with reassuring authority and came to be called “the most trusted man in America,” died Friday. He was 92.
Cronkite’s longtime chief of staff, Marlene Adler, said Cronkite died at 7:42 p.m. at his Manhattan home surrounded by family. She said the cause of death was cerebral vascular disease.
I was in to Farrah as much as a young kid could be. I am truly sad to see her go.
I am of course sad to see Michael Jackson leave us. For me he will always be remembered more from what he was, not so much what he turned into. I prefer to remember the good times.
Major Andrew Olmsted was killed in Iraq serving his country. He had a friend publish this post in that event.
I would like to express my deepest sympathies to his family.
Man this made me sad. I did not even know of him but now I will never forget him.
Just another sign I am getting old. The heroes of my youth are passing along to a better life.
