Thursday, January 14th, 2010

…with a shovel and you are trying to figure out how you got there. The first thing you might consider, “STOP DIGGING”.

Just saying.

Live Blogging, Interrupted

Friday, August 22nd, 2008

That post I was going to post yesterday to be my first post since April 28th. I was unable to follow through on that commitment due to life getting in the way.

I will try again today to return to live blogging. This post of course does not count.

Live Blogging Delayed One Day

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

My buddy Wayne was in town and came to visit. We went to Hooters to enjoy some good food and great sites.

Until the morrow.

Live Blogging Resumes Tomorrow

Today, I will continue not to blog.

Except for this one. It doesn’t count.

How Liberal is Barack Obama?

Monday, March 31st, 2008

Barack Obama is so liberal, he almost makes McCain look Conservative.

Quote from yesterday

Friday, March 28th, 2008

This from Rush Limbaugh’s site: Democrats are sitting ducks, but our side won’t shoot

How true. McCain won’t even load his gun. The moderate bastard.

Socialism Is Bad

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

As I heard it put today; Socialism brings everyone down to the same level.

How anyone could be for something that does that, is beyond belief.

RNC Calling

Friday, March 14th, 2008

The RNC actually had the nerve to call today.

I let the nice scripted lady onn the phone say her piece. Telling me how the DNC is building up their ‘war chest’ with hundreds of millions of dallors. How they were making plans of taking on the RNC this election season.  Making her best pitch for the typical RNC voter.  I am not the typical Republican voter and she would soon find that out.

The came the question about renewing my membership RNC with a $150 donation but if not maybe one for $100. That is when I started to say my piece. I told her I would not be supporting  the Republicans as long as their is hardly a spits worth of difference between the Republicans and the damn democrats. As long as the Republicans can’t stop sucking at the teats of the earmark laden pig.

I will of course continue to support my local conservative members of the State and Federal offices, but I will not give my money to the RNC. I will not be supporting McCain.

They can just go to hell.

I am a Conservative. Give me a Conservative Party, give me a Conservative candidate and I will support that.

Indiana Thought/Hate Crimes Bill

Monday, February 18th, 2008

Well I for one am thankful that this awful bit of legislation is going to be kept from passing. For me, Hates Crimes are bogus and amount up to nothing more that thought crimes and that gives me the creeps, As in Tom Cruise Minority Report creepy. Also it is just another part of the liberal agenda that should never see the light of day.

Hate crimes bill appears dead this session

A bill that would create a hate crimes law in Indiana would die in the House before a key deadline this week, its author said, and he did not expect it to be revived this session.

Porter said Indiana was one of only five states without hate crimes laws, and if one were to pass, it would show that Indiana “is a place to live and work for everybody.”

I am OK with Indiana being one of only five states not to have fallen for this crock of bad legislation.

I am not sure where this Porter lives in Indiana, but from here in Indianapolis, it seems to be very accommodating to all that dwell within. Even if you are an idiot that happens to be a liberal.

Andrew Olmsted Killed In Iraq

Friday, January 4th, 2008

Major Andrew Olmsted was killed in Iraq serving his country. He had a friend publish this post in that event.

I would like to express my deepest sympathies to his family.

Man this made me sad. I did not even know of him but now I will never forget him.

Liberal Fascism: The Interview

Thursday, December 27th, 2007

Listened to my first podcast from the Glenn and Helen Show, Instapundit and Instawife, with Jonah Goldberg and his new book, Liberal Fascism -  The Secret History of the American Left, From Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning. I liked it.

Actually thoroughly enjoyed it. It was one of the few times that the interviewee actually spoke more than the interviewers. The only other times are when Rush Limbaugh does it and mostly when Dennis Miller does it.

Great interview on what sounds like a very interesting book.

Sams Club is the Best

Tuesday, December 11th, 2007

…but this years Santa Clause at my local Club was the epitome of Mall Santa’s. Mall store Santa’s were better.

I only accept authentic American Santa’s for my boys photos.

democrats are an embarassment

Tuesday, December 11th, 2007

…not only to the country at large, but to themselves.

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have to be competing for the most incompetent leaders of the legislature in history.

Don Surber Gets Mention From Rush Limbaugh

Friday, December 7th, 2007

Don has a great post here on the approval of Congress on the Iraq War. Rush Limbaugh mentioned it on his show here and I made a comment on Don’s Site here on the post he made accepting graciously the recognition of his work.

Way to go Don! You are getting what you deserve.

Dogs Eating Chicken

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

My youngest son has been saying “dogs eating chicken” for sometime now and I did not know why or where he picked that up. Then they other day I finally found out why. It was a Dairy Queen commercial of a guy sitting at a table feeding his dog chicken strips. The dog insists on dipping his strip in the sauce and the owner relents.

So that is where he ended up getting the phrase, “dogs eating chicken”.

Kids say the darnedest things as they say.

Donuts With Dad

Friday, November 30th, 2007

Had a very nice time with the oldest son at school this morning. The PTA Dad’s Club has Donuts with Dad’s every year and this is the second year we attended.

Goldberg on Miller

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

As Jonah Goldberg made it known earlier today that he was going to be on Dennis Miller 34 on the first hour today. I made a point of tuning in.

Of course Dennis has a good game when it comes to gab, Jonah was equally as funny and witty.

Both of them used fancy words. Quick with the analogies. Made for good radio.

Oh, and just in the event that Sal happens to read this post. Love “Journeyman“! Good stuff. Thank your wife.

Missing Blog Posts

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

I have been failing my blogging duties lately. My eldest son just started basketball and practices have been three nights a week. Fortunately next week it will be down to two nights after this weekends first games.

I have to figure out a way of doing blogging in the morning but I don’t feel like waking up so early.

Shuttle Discovery Blasts Off

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

This is all fine but it is a little irritating that this thing can’t take off in bad weather and that so many things can screw up the entire mess.

They really need to start building a better space craft if this whole space thing is ever going to work.

Thanks for the private industry that is making it better and easier.
